Next weeks anchor text is a book called Bob by Pearson. It is about a rooster who leaves the coop to find his voice. If possible, visit a farm and list all the animals you see on your trip. Ask your child "Do any of the roosters look like Bob?" Your linguistic and naturalist learners will love this.
